On June 20, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release offering an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. While the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is not yet complete, UnitedHealth Group has started the process to notify impacted customers and shared a website that provides additional information. UnitedHealth Group continues to offer credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. Early Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) Services

Early Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) Services provide screenings and treatments to children under age 21.

This benefit provides:

  • Preventative care for members from birth through age 20 at no cost
  • Complete medical, mental and behavioral health, and dental care
  • Services and Medicines
  • Treatment for problems that are identified
  • Diagnosis and Intensive Behavioral Therapies for members with an autism spectrum disorder
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatments for members with an autism spectrum disorder

Services include:

  • Complete physical exam
  • Lab tests (as needed)
  • Immunizations
  • Vision/hearing screening
  • Developmental, behavioral and mental health screenings (as needed)
  • Referrals to specialists (as needed)
  • Oral (mouth) check
  • Prescription medications (as needed)
