Welcome to 'Ohana's High School Equivalency Benefit Program!

By signing up to take the high school equivalency tests (GED® or HiSET®), you've taken a big step toward a better future. We want to help you reach this goal by covering the cost for you to take one of these tests.

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years old,
  • Not have graduated from an accredited high school or received a high school equivalency certificate or diploma,
  • Not be currently enrolled in a regular high school and
  • Have a valid ID Card.

To be completed at a testing center:

If you've been out of high school for one year or more, you must take the steps below to help you pass a high school equivalency exam. You may take either the GED or HiSET exam. The GED exam can only be taken on a computer. It tests students on these subjects: reading, science, social studies, and mathematics. You may take the HiSet exam on a computer or paper. The HiSet exam scores students on these subjects: reading, writing, social studies, science and mathematics.
